How to Evolve

Evolve is the purple bar on the HUD, not the Rebirth panel. In +1 Katana Evolution you swing, you gain Level/XP, and the bar tells you “Next Evolve In X Level.” When that counter hits, your ninja form changes and the game applies a better multiplier. That is a different lever from rebirth, from katana buys, and from egg hatches. This page is how to read the bar, what a form change is worth, and when to let an evolve land before you reset. Rank the forms themselves on the evolutions tier list. Compare the reset button on How to Rebirth.

Reading the purple bar

The bar is always a level countdown, not a Win countdown. X is remaining levels. If it says 12, you need twelve more Level ticks, not twelve Win pads. Level/XP comes from swinging and clearing packs. Watch Ad x2 can speed a stubborn pack so XP happens; it does not fill the bar by itself. The +1 LEVEL button on the HUD is the blunt instrument if you are one tick short and willing to spend whatever that button costs in your current build. +100K, +1M, and +10M are not evolve buttons — do not mash them hoping the bar notices.

You do not Teleport to an evolve shrine. Form changes happen on the HUD when the counter completes. If you cannot see the bar, you are looking at Store or Inventory; close the panel. Layout help is on Controls and HUD. The bar still counts on a 12-player server while other people fight their own packs. Nobody else can evolve you, and you cannot evolve them. The game released 11 June 2026; this is a live system, not a coming-soon teaser.

Ninja form change

Each evolve swaps you into a stronger ninja form and applies a multiplier on the combat loop. That is the official pitch: gain power every click, train katanas, defeat packs, evolve forms, stack multipliers, become a katana master. In practice, a form change is a permanent-feeling step on the account the same way a bought katana is — it is not a stage skip. You still need Stage 2’s ~300 damage, Stage 3’s ~5,000, and Stage 5’s 30,444 recommended if those are the maps you Teleport into. The Stages Walkthrough remains the gate list.

Do not confuse a cooler form with a better blade. Bamboo to wooden is a Store purchase at one Win. Fire and purple blades are later Store purchases that persist through rebirth. Evolve does not replace those purchases. If your damage is short, check the katana tier list and click upgrades first. If your bar is almost empty and your damage is already at the gate, let the evolve land before you spend the session on a different system.

Multipliers: evolve versus rebirth versus pets

Three multiplier families sit on one HUD and players mash them together:

  • Evolve — purple bar, ninja form, combat multiplier, no katana wipe.
  • Rebirth — HUD confirm, ~x2 at first reset, ~x5 around three resets, katanas kept, pad cadence rebuilt.
  • Pets — eggs. Rough odds: Rare 40%, Epic 50%, Legendary 10%, Secret 0.20%, plus Common and Uncommon. Secret is the pink horned pet.

Evolve does not keep-or-lose katanas because it never strips them. Rebirth does not fill the purple bar. Pets do not move “Next Evolve In X Level” by themselves, though extra damage can make packs die faster so XP ticks faster. Hatch odds and the Secret pet sit on the pets tier list. If you are about to rebirth with two levels left on the evolve bar, take the form first unless the Stage 2 farm test already failed and you should not be rebirthing at all.

Passes (x2 Damage, x2 Wins around 240 Robux, Starter Pack around 72 Robux, +10 Speed) are a fourth family. They are Robux. They do not replace evolve. Free-to-play still uses the purple bar.

A session that respects the bar

  1. Note X on “Next Evolve In X Level” before you fight.
  2. Farm the highest stage you can circle-clear so Level/XP actually moves. Pad Wins while you are there — evolve does not print Wins, and you still need Store money as How to Get Wins describes.
  3. When the form changes, check Damage on the HUD against the next gate before you Teleport forward.
  4. Only then open Rebirth. If the multiplier preview is ~x2 and Stage 2 is not a farm, close the panel.
  5. Hatch eggs after the pad and the form, not in the middle of a Stage 5 pack.

Skipping evolve to “save it” does nothing useful; the bar is not a stack you bank across a wipe. Skipping a ready rebirth to finish a 1-level evolve usually is useful, because a form multiplier lands on the katanas you already own and you still have to reclear maps after a reset. The rebirth planner is for the reset sequence. This page is for not throwing away a bar that is already at 1.

What evolve will not do

It will not join the Gatto vs Denis group for you, redeem RELEASE or COOKED, or step on a GET +1 WIN pad. It will not make Teleport ignore recommended damage. It will not turn a 12-player server into a co-op campaign. It will not hatch the Secret pink horned pet. If you came here because the bar was purple and you assumed it was Rebirth, go back to the HUD row and open the actual Rebirth panel only after you read the keep-katanas rules. If you came here because a form looked weak next to someone else’s, use the evolutions tier list rather than resetting in a panic. Form rank is a list. The bar is a countdown. Treat them as two tools, not one mystery glow.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What does “Next Evolve In X Level” mean?

X is remaining levels on the purple HUD bar. Swing and clear packs to tick Level/XP. It is not a Win count and not a rebirth timer.

Is evolve the same as rebirth?

No. Evolve changes ninja form and applies its own multipliers. Rebirth is a HUD reset that keeps katanas and rebuilds pad cadence. See How to Rebirth.

Where are the forms ranked?

On the evolutions tier list. This page is the bar and the timing. The tier list is which form is actually worth chasing.

Should I hatch eggs to evolve faster?

Pets add combat so packs die faster and XP can tick faster. They do not fill the bar directly. Odds and the Secret pink horned pet are on the pets tier list.

Should I evolve or rebirth when both look ready?

Take a 1-level evolve first, then apply the Stage 2 farm test before rebirth. Do not reset just because the Rebirth panel is glowing.

Do I lose my katana when I evolve?

No. Evolve does not strip blades. Rebirth also keeps katanas. Store purchases stay unless you never bought them — rank those on the katana tier list.
